Halloween Attractions for Kids and Adults around Triangle

Haunted Attractions

Halloween is an exciting time for kids with pumpkin carvings, trick-or-treating, haunted adventures, farm tours and harvest rides. If you are looking for Halloween adventures, here are few places right in the Triangle area.

Haunted Farm at Phillips Farm of Cary

Open September 24th to October 29th, 2022.
Open Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Ticket sales end at 10:30 p.m.$25 per person; $27 if you use a credit card.
4 Nighttime Attractions:
  • Two haunted houses: Big Top Terror and the Gore House.
  • Two Trails: Plus Rebellion Trail (a hayride) and Field of Lost Souls (a trail through the corn.)

Hawfields Haunted Forest

Hawfields Ball Park, 2115 NC Hwy 119 S, Mebane, NC
October 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th, 31st, 2022, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night except October 31st which is 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.$12 per person.
On October 15th, 22nd, and 29th, there will be “No Scare” tours from 2 to 4 p.m. for just $2 per person. 30-minute stroll through the woods. Different scenes of horror with ghouls, zombies and clowns. In the end there’s the Dark Maze. Click Here for Info.

Tickets are $15 for either the haunted barn or the haunted hayride for adults, and combo tickets are $20.
For kids, the haunted barn is $8 and the haunted hayride is $10, with $15 for a combo ticket.

The Witch’s Haunted Barn

Every Saturday in October 2022, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.$10 per person (Ages 2 and under get in free)
This is a low-priced, family-friendly activity. It’s not meant to be a very scary experience, but, instead, a whimsical look at Halloween, so it should be suitable for all kids of all ages. Before or after visiting the haunted barn you can explore the farm and meet mini donkeys, horses and chickens. Bring a picnic or buy lunch from a food truck on site. Click Here for Info

Holder Hill Farm

Pumpkin Patch Express

Edward’s Battle Haunted House

October 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2022.6 to 9 p.m.This is a walk-through haunted house attraction created by a Raleigh teen, Edward, who has battled cancer.
It’s free to enjoy but donations are collected for Give Kids the world, a resort in Florida for critically ill children. There will also be a blood drive with Blood Connection on October 29th. Click Here for Info

P&C Holiday Lights

This is a private home where you can see a Halloween haunt in the front yard, with lights and animatronics. Please respect the rules of the community. The event is a fundraiser for Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption, so please donate when you visit, if you can. Click Here for Info.

Skeletons for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital

Several homes are participating in Skeletons for St. Jude’s, where homeowners decorate their yards with massive and elaborate skeleton displays and raise money for St. Jude’s. The map of participating homes is on skeletonsforhope.org, and will be updated, starting in September, 2022. You can also learn about donating on the Facebook page.

Naylor Family Farm and Giant Corn Maze

Spring Haven Farm

Spring Haven Farm is hosting Pumpkin Carving with Goats. Pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and then carve it. The goats will eat the insides of the pumpkins after you scoop them out. DJ’s Berry Patch

DJ’s Berry Patch is a great place to go to for pumpkins and much more. They will have many varieties of pumpkins and gourds, as well as mums, hay bales, corn stalks, and many other fall products.
